Truthfully, the one that landed at the top of the pile is the part about George Wallace.....so strongly opposed to integration, fought it tooth and nail and then someone tried to end his life. But, God had a different idea for George, he wasn't done with him yet.

Then I go back to Martin Luther King Jr. and when someone decided he had said enough, his life was indeed snuffed out....his mission was done....he had accomplished what God knew he was capable of. We all could lament the injustice of it all, but I am realizing that God, in His divine love for every single one of us, keeps giving us chances to see through a new lens. George still had much to learn, so his life was spared, albeit in a very new way. Isn't God amazing? However it is that we are able to learn how to truly love, is the right way. The world gained much by George Wallace's conversion, but not nearly as much as George did.

Interesting that this is what emerged from this blog for me, Chris....one just never knows where the spirit will lead us.

BTW, I forwarde something to you on an email, but it might be an old one....it's something I thought you might find interesting

I pray for blessings on you as you bless us,
MaryMiggshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16440403553842357213noreply@blogger.com
