They admitted that they were put off by it because they felt in their gut that i was giving up and demonstrating despair. I had to admit that in some sense i was giving up, but, I let them know that though i did not know what would come next, i needed some space to mourn. And by the way, Chris, i definitely noticed that between my neice and nephew and my grandniece and grandnephew---the boys, as toddlers for sure were more prone to cry, emote with outward signs than the girls. It was odd. The girls as toddlers seem to almost purposely hide and deceive about what they were feeling while the boys just put it all out there.
